Ezequiel Durán leads the way as Rangers snap 4-game skid by beating Brewers 7-4

In a thrilling game on Sunday, Texas Rangers catcher Ezequiel Durán led the charge as the team ended a four-game skid by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4. Durán showcased his versatility by not only hitting a home run, two doubles, but also driving in three crucial runs. His contributions came at pivotal moments in the game, including a game-tying solo homer in the third inning, followed by a two-run ground-rule double in the fifth.

Joc Pederson added a solo shot for the Rangers, helping them extend their own four-game winning streak. Milwaukee's Gary Sánchez made history by hitting his 200th career homer. Durán's performance was particularly impressive given that Brewers starter Dustin May had left the previous day's game with a bruised right scapula after being hit in the upper back by a line drive.

Despite a late rally led by Sánchez's two-run shot off Jordan Montgomery, the Brewers were unable to close the gap, ultimately falling short. Texas' Tyler Alexander and Jake Burger, along with Cody Freeman, contributed additional RBI singles, sealing the Rangers' victory. Tyler Alexander (5-2) pitched two innings of shutout relief, while Jacob Latz delivered a crucial ninth-inning save, his 27th save in 30 opportunities.

The Rangers will return home to face the Athletics in their next game, while the Brewers head to Chicago for a four-game series against the Cubs.
