Elon Musk Says SpaceX Will Offer Starlink at Half Price for People Living Near Starbase Louisiana

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced on X that the company will be offering discounted Starlink satellite internet services to residents near the new Starbase launch site in Louisiana. Residents of Vermillion Parish will be eligible for a 50% discount on the Residential plan, which will apply automatically to both new and existing customers.

The discount will continue as long as the customer's address is within the eligible service area. Musk's statement prompted an official reply from Starlink on X, confirming the discount and stating that customers do not need to take any action other than entering their address to confirm eligibility.
