Celtic’s Europa League Fixtures confirmed by UEFA

UEFA has officially announced the Europa League fixtures for Celtic, following their draw in Monaco on Friday. Following a disastrous performance in Linz against LASK, Celtic find themselves in the second tier of European competition. The Hoops kick off their Europa League journey with a home match against Hungarian side Ferencváros on Thursday, September 17 at Celtic Park, with kick-off at 8pm.

Celtic will face a formidable challenge as they travel to Lisbon to take on Benfica on October 15, following a tough qualifier at The Estádio da Luz. The next two matches will see Celtic play at home against Celta Vigo on October 22 and Turkish side Beşiktaş on November 5. Two more away games await Celtic before the new year, with a clash against Portuguese cup winners Torreense on November 26 and a trip to Cyprus to face Omonia on December 10.

The final two matches of the campaign, scheduled for January 2027, will see Celtic host French giants Marseille at Celtic Park on January 21, before concluding the Europa League phase with a trip to Belgium to play Union Saint-Gilloise.
