Callosa de Segura restores urban bus service with three daily weekday routes

Callosa de Segura is set to launch its urban bus service once again, starting from September 1. The service will consist of three daily weekday routes, departing from Los Dolores at 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM. The buses will connect various neighborhoods and key locations, including San Jose, La Monsina, El Palmeral, the Mercado de Abastos, the cemetery, IES Santiago Grisolia, and Paseo de la Estacion.

Mayor Juan Antonio Franco emphasized that the return of the service would provide easier access to everyday destinations, such as the market and educational facilities, for residents who previously relied on private transport. The initial phase of the service will run until November 3, while the council works towards securing a permanent urban transport service through a tender process.

This step is intended to ensure the bus remains a stable part of Callosa de Segura's public transport network in the future.
