Blue-chip DL raves about Florida State visit, will attend SMU game

Four-star defensive lineman Prince Che, set to be a 2028 recruit, visited Florida State University's Tallahassee campus this weekend to catch the team's season opener against the New Mexico State Aggies. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound athlete returned to see the Seminoles for the second time, following his visit last season when the team took on the Miami Hurricanes.

According to Che, the defensive line's performance during the game visit stood out as most impressive. He praised the pressure they applied on the quarterback, noting their overall strong approach. Che had an amicable rapport with head coach Mike Norvell and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, expressing his appreciation for their genuine and welcoming demeanor.

The visit is not the only time Che will interact with the Seminoles this season, as he is expected to return just over a week later for the ACC opener against the SMU Mustangs – a significant game for Florida State. Che has received offers from numerous top-tier programs, including the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas Longhorns, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks, and LSU Tigers. Consequently, Florida State must continue recruiting Che diligently to secure his commitment.
