Casio managed to fit a smartwatch into a ring size, and now Bandai, not a watchmaker, has done something similar with Tamagotchi. The result is the Tamagotchi Ring, the smallest virtual pet toy after the Nano. Despite its size, the Tamagotchi Ring is fully functional, featuring a color screen and 30 characters to raise. Traditional buttons are replaced with two buttons on either side of the chassis, which serve different functions. The left button switches through menu selections, while the right button confirms choices or goes back. The Tamagotchi Ring's battery life remains unknown and comes with an egg-shaped charging cradle.
