Al menos un muerto y cinco heridos en un tiroteo durante una ‘rave’ en el norte de Suiza

In northern Switzerland, a shooting during a rave party has resulted in one death and at least five injuries, some of which are severe, according to local police. The Argovian police are actively searching for the perpetrator or perpetrators and have called upon citizens to provide any video or photographic evidence of the incident, which reportedly took place at a hippodrome.

A video circulating on the newspaper's website shows multiple shots. The police have cordoned off large areas of the city of Aarau and have reinforced their presence beyond the municipality as a precautionary measure. The Swiss newspaper Blick, citing the police, reported that the incident occurred near the Aarau hippodrome and happened shortly after 2:30 AM on Sunday.

Police spokeswoman Vanessa Rumpold initially stated that only the fact of "several shots against a large group of people" could be confirmed, without specifying any fatalities. About seven hours later, another police spokesperson, Pascal Wenzel, described the situation as "special" before the police confirmed the death.
