However, Shakeel's dismissal for 97, caught on the boundary, effectively ended Pakistan's resistance. Masood, who scored 26, eventually fell to Robinson, who secured his 99th Test wicket. England's bowlers quickly dismantled the tail, with Robinson, Archer, and Tongue contributing to the final score.

The victory marks England's first Test series win since December 2024, erasing any remaining doubt about their dominance. Pakistan now faces an uphill battle before the final Test in Birmingham on September 9.
