Winnie Odinga: I would like to meet Uhuru so he can guide me

Winnie Odinga, daughter of the late Prime Minister Raila Odinga, expressed her desire to meet retired President Uhuru Kenyatta in a recent interview. Speaking with a Nigerian YouTuber and journalist, Winnie revealed her intention to seek guidance from the former leader on various political matters. She stated that she does not hold any animosity towards any political figure and is interested in maintaining amicable relations with all parties involved.

During her conversation, Winnie mentioned that she intends to inherit her father's friends rather than his enemies. She acknowledged that Uhuru Kenyatta is currently the party leader of his party and may not be deeply involved in front-row politics. Winnie expressed her openness to meeting President Ruto as well, seeking his advice on navigating the political landscape.

Winnie emphasized that she has no mortal enemies and is not looking to start any conflicts. She is eager to meet with everyone and be given guidance, as she believes in a positive and constructive approach to politics. She also revealed that a committee has been established to organize a grand memorial for her father in Bondo. This event will include both traditional and religious ceremonies, reflecting her father's preference for celebrations over sad moments. Winny added that her father wanted to be buried within 72 hours of his passing, as per his will.
