‘Whatever he needs, it should be seen to’: Moin Khan on Imran Khan situation

Former Pakistan cricketer Moin Khan has taken a stand to ensure that his former captain Imran Khan receives proper medical care while detained in Adiala jail. Moin, 73, has been in Adiala jail since 2023 following his conviction in corruption cases. Imran, Pakistan's former prime minister, has been in detention since 2023, and his health has reportedly suffered. Concerned over Imran's well-being, Moin has urged the government to honor his right to medical care, stating that "whatever he needs, it should be seen to."

Moin's plea for support from fellow cricketers comes as Pakistan's cricketing legend Javed Miandad broke down in tears while discussing Imran's imprisonment. Miandad, who represented Pakistan in six World Cups, vehemently denied Imran's corruption allegations and called for his release. Imran's sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, recently appeared in an interview with Michael Atherton at Lord's, alleging that their father is being kept in isolation for nearly 23 hours a day.

They insisted that Imran is an honest man and not corrupt, emphasizing that his release should be considered.
