Despite his impressive preseason showing, Thomas faces a difficult task in making the 53-man roster due to the crowded defensive end position.

The Jaguars, having signed Thomas as an Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) after the 2026 draft, may struggle to accommodate a seventh defensive end, considering roster impacts elsewhere.
