Studs and duds from New York Giants' preseason Week 3 win over Jets

The New York Giants concluded their 2026 preseason schedule with a defensive standout performance against their MetLife Stadium co-tenants, the New York Jets. The game showcased several standout performances and questionable choices from both teams.

One of the Giants' defensive standouts was DC Dennard Wilson, who contributed to the team's stinginess, allowing just 22 points over three preseason games. Their defense held opponents to a mere 26% conversion rate on third downs, despite playing with a depleted roster.

On the other hand, WR Braxton Berrios struggled during the game. With Calvin Austin III sidelined for the season, Berrios was left to fill the wide receiver and return roles. He failed to impress on special teams and even fumbled in the red zone, squandering a potential scoring opportunity for the Giants.

Starter Tyrone Tracy Jr. showed flashes of brilliance with his 9.3 yards per attempt on four carries and a touchdown. He left the game with a neck injury but left fans with the impression that he's too valuable to write off just yet.
