Sonal Dinusha’s father drove a tuk-tuk, now he is batting like a Rolls Royce

Sonal Dinusha's father, Dinusha Elwalage, previously drove a tuk-tuk to support his family. Now, his son has become a Test cricketer, earning enough to provide for their needs. During the second Test against India, Shubman Gill and Gautam Gambhir employed every tactic to dismiss Sri Lanka's young talent. After 264 deliveries and 133 runs, India was compelled to accept defeat, as Dinusha denied them a Test win on Sri Lankan soil after seven hours of intense competition.

Dinusha, only 25, had already achieved three centuries in two Tests against India. His coach, Dinusha's childhood coach, credits the support from their community and Dinusha's unwavering determination as the key factors in his success.
