Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Senior Presidential Aide and Advisor to President John Dramani Mahama, has cautioned social media users to be mindful of their online posts. She emphasized that social media platforms have become public reference points, serving as crucial tools for communication, business, political campaigns, public engagement, and marketing.

Mogtari encouraged users to harness the power of social media to spread constructive ideas and engage in meaningful conversations. She noted that social media advocacy and advertising have become indispensable skills in today's world. In a Facebook post, Mogtari explained that her personal platforms primarily serve as an extension of her role as a spokesperson and communicator, as well as a means to promote the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

She stressed that disagreements and personal differences should not hinder individuals from using social media positively. Mogtari urged users to share well-researched, relevant content consistently, arguing that such an approach could attract engagement from diverse audiences, including professionals and individuals they have not met before.
