Savio injury news: Latest on Tottenham Hotspur's new star who missed out vs Newcastle

Tottenham Hotspur's new Brazilian winger, Savio, will miss their upcoming home game against Newcastle United due to muscle fatigue, according to team officials. The 22-year-old dazzled on his debut against Charlton Athletic in the League Cup, scoring a goal and providing an assist in just 19 minutes. However, the medical staff deemed it too risky to take Savio into their squad for the match against Newcastle, who are Spurs' league rivals.

De Zerbi, the Tottenham manager, agreed with the medical team's decision, stating that Savio should be available for the next match against Nottingham Forest. Mohammed Kudus, who had been out with a quad injury since January, has returned to the team and is expected to play a significant role in the right wing position.
