Saudi Islamic Affairs Ministry launches sixth training course for Cambodian imams and preachers

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia has commenced its sixth scientific training course for imams and preachers in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Over 40 participants from diverse cities and regions of Cambodia attended the three-day program. The course, hosted in Phnom Penh, focuses on scientific, religious, and professional subjects designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of attendees.

It aims to deepen their understanding of authentic Islamic doctrine, as well as their ability to carry out their religious duties in line with the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah. By strengthening the capabilities of imams and preachers, the initiative seeks to bolster their role in serving their communities. This move is part of Saudi Arabia's broader international efforts to foster Islamic scholarship, train religious leaders, and uphold the principles of moderation and tolerance, illustrating the Kingdom's dedication to supporting Islam and Muslims globally.
