Rockies scratch Ryan Feltner from start against Braves, Zach Agnos to open in a bullpen game

In a last-minute alteration for Saturday's matchup against the Atlanta Braves, the Colorado Rockies decided to replace scheduled starting pitcher Ryan Feltner due to his illness. Manager Warren Schaeffer revealed Feltner had been vomiting throughout the night. Zach Agnos (0-2) will take over the starting role in what will be a bullpen game for the Rockies.

Agnos, who has thrown two starts this season, one being a bullpen game and another lasting five innings against the Diamondbacks, will likely pitch a maximum of two to three innings. Feltner (5-8) has appeared in 20 games this year, but two of those outings were challenging, as he surrendered 14 runs over 10 2/3 innings. The Rockies have now lost nine of their last 11 games and suffered a 6-4 defeat to the Braves in Friday's opener of this three-game series. For the Braves, Tyler Mahle (5-10) will start the game.
