The three-time home run hero was joined by Alex Bregman, Carson Kelly, and Seiya Suzuki, who also contributed with power hits to help Chicago bounce back from three consecutive losses and six out of their last eight games.

The Cubs now stand at 7-2 against Cincinnati this season, after suffering a wild 10-8 defeat in the opening series game on Friday.

The Reds responded with two home runs from Alex Bregman and Sal Stewart, and Eugenio Suárez, dropping their record to 3-5 on their nine-game road trip. Andrew Abbott pitched poorly for the Reds, allowing seven runs and eight hits in three-plus innings, while Stewart's 30th homer of the year was his 30th of the year, leading NL rookies in home runs and RBIs.
