Nolan McLean dazzles, Jared Young drives in three in Mets' 6-2 win over Astros

On Saturday, the New York Mets secured a 6-2 victory over the Houston Astros in the second game of their three-game series at Citi Field. Nolan McLean, the Mets' right-handed pitcher, delivered a stellar performance, working seven innings and allowing just one unearned run on two hits and three walks while striking out four. This marked McLean's 10th win of the season, improving his ERA to 3.06, and it was his fourth time pitching seven innings since June 17.

Jared Young, another key performer for the Mets, contributed significantly to the offense with three RBIs. He drove in a run in the first inning with a single and then delivered a two-run triple in the fifth inning, extending New York's lead.
