Natasha Cloud dismisses Enes Kanter Freedom as Sky ban him from home games

Natasha Cloud, a player for the Chicago Sky, was preparing for their game against the New York Liberty on Saturday when she decided not to waste time discussing Enes Kanter Freedom. Cloud dismissed Freedom as an "irrelevant person" and instead emphasized the issues affecting women and children in 2026, such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and food insecurities.

The confrontation between Cloud and Freedom took place during a home game against the Indiana Fever on Sunday, where Freedom was sitting on the baseline wearing a shirt with the words "WOMAN noun. adult human female." After Cloud scored, she got into an altercation with Freedom and was subsequently banned by Sky owner Michael Alter from attending future Chicago home games.

Cloud supported the decision, stating that it was a necessary step to "protect the players." The WNBA has faced debates surrounding the participation of transgender women, but as of now, no such players have been eligible to join the league.
