Grant Taylor shone as the hero, posting a 2 2/3 inning, high-leverage performance, while Colson Montgomery and Andrew Benintendi contributed with two hits and RBIs each. Despite a lackluster outing from Luis Castillo, the White Sox managed to eke out a hard-fought win and maintain their position at the top of the standings.
