IRGC Navy says it has 'full control' over Strait of Hormuz

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy claims to have complete authority over the Strait of Hormuz. This comes as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly claimed Israel will achieve total victory over the Hamas forces. Netanyahu's expectations have not materialized, with Hamas still not disarmed and Israel maintaining control over parts of the Gaza Strip.

The death toll in Lebanon stands at 4,352, with 12,318 people wounded since March 2. Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed Oman has accepted a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but insists the United States complete its responsibilities under the Islamabad MoU, including lifting the naval blockade and sanctions, releasing Iranian funds, and permitting oil-related measures and investments.
