Institute of Public Administration launches new specialized diploma programs

The Institute of Public Administration has unveiled new diploma programs to cultivate national talent in partnership with Saudi entities. Through its Business Center, the Institute announced the initiation of specialized diploma courses in various domains. These programs include a diploma in Real Estate Systems and Legislation, co-developed with the Saudi Real Estate Institute, and a diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, in collaboration with the Saudi Logistics Academy.

This was revealed during the institute’s orientation sessions for the incoming cohort of diploma students, which also marked the commencement of the third batch of Executive Business Administration Advanced Diploma learners. The institute explained that these advanced diploma programs are tailored to meet the escalating demands of pivotal sectors in the Kingdom by providing targeted curricula to imbue national talent with relevant skills and knowledge for the job market.

The Real Estate Systems and Legislation program aims to produce professionals who possess both regulatory acumen and hands-on expertise in the real estate sector. Similarly, the Supply Chain and Logistics Management diploma focuses on honing specialized skills and boosting performance within the logistics industry. The institute maintains the Executive Business Administration Advanced Diploma, now in its third year, to bolster managerial and leadership competencies while enhancing students’ grasp of strategic planning, financial analysis, risk management, and governance.

This framework is intended to bolster organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore, the institute recently inaugurated an advanced diploma in Nonprofit Organization Management, a joint venture with the Al Swaidi Charitable Foundation and backed by the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development. The initiative seeks to groom adept professionals and augment capacity in this field.

This week also saw the admission of new students into the Advanced Diploma in Legal Sciences and other diploma courses offered by the Institute, underscoring the breadth of training and development avenues accessible to national professionals in administrative and specialized spheres. The institute is dedicated to presenting a spectrum of study tracks and formats, with certain programs scheduled on weekends to cater to working individuals, while others follow a weekday schedule, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to foster human capital development and augment the skills of the national workforce.

Mohammed bin Khalid Al Oqail, CEO of the Business Center, underscored that investing in human capital is the cornerstone of progress, emphasizing the significance of training initiatives in nurturing national capabilities and empowering individuals to navigate future transformations. During the orientation ceremony, trainees were warmly welcomed and briefed on organizational protocols, training methodologies, and the services provided, symbolizing the beginning of their advanced diploma program journey.
