Indonesia's Bilal Hasan Lands Knockout Win in UFC Debut

Indonesian-American fighter Bilal Hasan made a remarkable UFC debut by securing a knockout victory over Peruvian opponent Nilson Rojas. The clash took place in Shanghai, China, on Saturday. In the second round, Hasan delivered a powerful right hand, forcing Rojas to the ground and effectively ending the matchup. This marked Hasan's first professional MMA win, propelling his record to an impressive 10-0.

Four of those victories were achieved via TKO or KO. During the bout, Hasan exhibited aggressive and dominant aggression, relentlessly attacking Rojas from the outset. Despite Rojas' initial defensive efforts, Hasan's relentless onslaught saw him cornered by the mid-point of the first round. However, Rojas managed to clinch a takedown and dully Rojas' defense before the round concluded without a winner.

In the subsequent round, Rojas landed a striking blow on Hasan, but the latter quickly recovered and pressed the action. Hasan's tactical brilliance was on full display when he feigned a jab, leaving Rojas' exposed left side vulnerable. Hasan capitalized on this opportunity with a precise right hand to Rojas' chin. Rojas collapsed to the ground, and the referee promptly halted the fight.

Hasan landed 56 strikes in total during the fight, with 53 deemed significant by UFC standards. Rojas, on the other hand, managed to land 37 strikes, 33 of which were significant. Hasan's precision in head strikes was also noteworthy, hitting 52% accuracy compared to Rojas' 51%.
