IndiGo to launch direct Gaya-Bangkok flight: Check timings, frequency and booking details

IndiGo is set to launch a direct flight between Gaya in Bihar, India, and Bangkok in Thailand, beginning on October 26, 2026. This new route will enhance air connectivity between the two nations, complementing the airline's existing 140 weekly flights to Thailand. These flights connect major Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bhubaneswar with Bangkok, as well as direct services to Phuket from these major Indian destinations, and Krabi from Delhi.

The addition of the Gaya-Bangkok route aims to strengthen IndiGo's presence in Thailand and improve access to Gaya, a significant cultural and spiritual destination in India, home to the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bodh Gaya is one of Buddhism's most sacred pilgrimage sites, attracting thousands of pilgrims and tourists annually.

The Gaya-Bangkok flight operated by IndiGo will run twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Flight 6E 1083 will depart Gaya at 1:15 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 5:50 pm, with the return flight 6E 1084 departing Bangkok at 10:15 am and arriving in Gaya at 12:15 pm. The non-stop journey takes approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes.
