Icelanders vote in referendum on whether to resume EU membership talks
Iceland will vote in a tight referendum on Saturday on whether to reopen membership negotiations with the European Union. Reykjavik applied for EU membership in 2009, following a financial crisis that devastated its economy but a eurosceptic government suspended the process in 2013.
