The surge in scalping of tickets for the "Odyssey YongA Max" screen has prompted CGV to limit the number of tickets that can be purchased per person. CGV announced on the 27th that it will limit the number of tickets for "Odyssey YongA Max" that can be purchased per person through its website or mobile app to four. This measure will take effect from 2 PM on the 27th for screenings scheduled for March and April. The decision was made in response to the large number of tickets being bought up and resold at higher prices on online marketplaces, causing inconvenience to actual moviegoers. CGV stated, "We have implemented this measure to prevent the inconvenience of not being able to purchase tickets due to tickets being bought up in bulk and resold at higher prices." The film "Odyssey" is an immersive cinematic experience with a large-format screen that provides a 360-degree view, offering an enhanced visual and auditory experience. The tickets for "Odyssey YongA Max" have been selling for as high as 100,000 won on online marketplaces due to high demand. CGV plans to take additional measures if the problem of ticket scalping persists. The company stated, "We will continue to monitor the situation and consider implementing additional measures if necessary."
