Pakistan Cricket Board head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed has addressed the controversy surrounding an interview conducted by former Pakistan Prime Minister and cricket icon Imran Khan's sons, Suleiman and Kasim Khan, on Sky Sports during the ongoing Test match in England. The interview, led by former England captain Michael Atherton, reportedly raised concerns within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

It is alleged that the PCB reached out to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) regarding the interview, though Sky Sports proceeded with its broadcast during the first day of the Test.

Sarfaraz, however, emphasized that he and the Pakistan team have distanced themselves from the controversy, stating, "I don’t know anything. I’m just focusing on the match." When questioned about the possibility of players refusing to take the field if the interview was aired, Sarfaraz firmly rejected the notion. "No, no, no, no," he reiterated, adding that the players were unaware of the issue and were merely having lunch when the interview was broadcast.

The interview involved Imran Khan's sons discussing their father's situation and expressing concerns over his treatment and security while he remains in custody. Despite the controversy, the Pakistan team continued with the Test match as planned.
