Hull agree deal with Frankfurt for winger Bahoya

Hull City and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached an agreement to sign winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya. The 21-year-old France Under-21 international, who has previously been linked with several Premier League clubs, is said to be willing to make the move. He has been given permission to undergo a medical examination in East Yorkshire before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Since joining Frankfurt from Angers in 2024, Bahoya has contributed 7 goals and 8 assists in 78 matches. He is primarily a left winger but can play in multiple attacking positions. In 2025, he set the Bundesliga speed record with a time of 23.09mph during a match against Bochum.

This potential signing would mark the Tigers' 13th acquisition of the summer transfer window as they continue to invest heavily in their squad under manager Sergej Jakirovic. Hull have started their Premier League campaign strongly, defeating Manchester United and Coventry City in their opening two matches after securing promotion to the top flight via last season's play-offs.
