Harris homers, drives in 3, and Acuña has 3 hits as Braves top Rockies 6-4 for 5th straight win

Michael Harris II contributed three runs to the Atlanta Braves' 6-4 victory over the Colorado Rockies, hitting a home run and recording two other hits. Ronald Acuña Jr. also had three hits and three runs in the game, batting cleanup for the first time this season. Grant Holmes pitched five innings for Atlanta, allowing only three runs on eight hits, all singles.

Prior to the game, the Braves announced that right-handers Spencer Schwellenbach and Hurston Waldrep would undergo season-ending elbow surgeries. Tomoyuki Sugano, the Rockies' right-hander, gave up six runs on 10 hits over four-plus innings before exiting in the fifth inning. Acuña, who was rested after losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers the previous night, came on as the cleanup hitter and walked, scored, singled, and scored again, before hitting a double off the right-field wall that set up Harris' home run.
