Families put up posters outside Kathmandu hospital in hope of finding their loved ones

The brother recounted that the last time he spoke to his brother was two days before the disaster struck. Another man showed photos of his three missing brothers, all of whom were drivers who had loaded their vehicle for a trip to China when the flood hit while they were en route.

Rescue officials have been working tirelessly to evacuate people and search for missing individuals in Rasuwa, but many remain unaccounted for. A local resident shared the harrowing moment the disaster unfolded, describing how a glacier burst caught them off guard while they were at the Customs Department. Many were trapped in the area, and their fates remain unknown.

The search for missing persons has also reached Nuwakot, where families of those who went missing have gathered outside an Army camp, displaying photos of their loved ones and anxiously awaiting any news. With rescue and search operations ongoing in the affected regions, families across the disaster-stricken districts remain hopeful that their loved ones will be found and identified. Authorities continue to prioritize locating survivors and identifying bodies recovered from the tragic floods.
