Former White House teleprompter operator Gabriel Perez has been ordered to pay over $172,000 for using insider knowledge to place bets on President Donald Trump's speeches, according to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Perez allegedly made trades between December 2025 and February 2026 on Kalshi, a prediction markets platform.
