Eagles stock report after preseason finale vs. Bengals

The Philadelphia Eagles concluded their preseason by falling to the Cincinnati Bengals with a 30-13 defeat. This match provided several roster hopefuls their last chance to impress Philadelphia's coaching staff.

Steele Steele emerged as a standout performer in this game. He proved his worth as a fullback and reserve running back, catching eight passes for 52 yards and a touchdown while also rushing eight times for 24 yards. His ability to contribute without needing a heavy rushing role makes him an attractive option for the Eagles.

Andy Dalton stepped up to stabilize the offense, especially after Tanner McKee's struggles. The veteran quarterback completed 12 of 19 passes for 104 yards and orchestrated Philadelphia's lone touchdown drive. Makai Lemon's game was limited, with three catches for just 3 yards. His punt-return opportunity ended with a recovered fumble, resulting in no gain. His first NFL game should be assessed in the context of his recovery from a hamstring injury.
