Eagles cut tracker, latest moves as NFL trims to 53-man roster

As the NFL prepares to trim teams to a 53-man roster by Aug. 30, the Philadelphia Eagles are beginning their roster reductions. While cutting players is a significant part of the process, trades for depth at other positions are also being considered. With a full training camp and three preseason games behind them, the Eagles still face difficult decisions on who to keep. This includes potentially bringing on undrafted rookies Uar Bernard and Joshua Weru, who have only played in the International Player Pathway program. The team may also have to retain them to avoid waivers claims, which could impact other players, such as veteran wide receiver Elijah Moore. As the final roster is put together, the Eagles will announce their 53-man squad on Aug. 30.
