Cowboys acquire offensive tackle Broderick Jones from Steelers, AP source says

The Dallas Cowboys have acquired offensive tackle Broderick Jones from the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a person with knowledge of the deal who spoke to The Associated Press. Jones, a 2023 first-round draft pick, was sent along with the Steelers' fourth-round pick in the 2027 draft. In return, the Cowboys are receiving the Steelers' third- and sixth-round picks.

Jones, who was selected 14th overall out of Georgia in the 2023 draft, started 38 of the 45 games he played in three seasons with the Steelers. The move suggests the Cowboys are concerned about their tackle positions, with Terence Steele and Tyler Guyton needing to find their form after a difficult training camp and preseason. Jones missed the final six games last year after an injury that required surgery and rehabilitation.
