Chevening scholarships: eight Argentine professionals after Master’s degrees in UK

Eight Argentine professionals have been selected to undertake master's degrees in the UK through the Chevening scholarship program. The British Ambassador to Argentina, David Cairns, bid farewell to the recipients on Thursday, August 27th, praising the diversity of their chosen fields, interests, and universities. Ambassador Cairns stated, "Tonight, we celebrate not only the departure of a new cohort of exceptional scholars, but also the continued growth of a community that connects Argentina and the United Kingdom through education, leadership and lasting friendship."

This scholarship provides financial assistance for Argentine young professionals with leadership potential to pursue a graduate program at a British university of their choice, covering all expenses. Applications for the 2027-2028 academic year are open from August 4th to October 6th, 2026, at Chevening Argentina. The recipients of the 2026-2027 scholarship include Barnade, Ezequiel for an MPhil in Criminology at the University of Cambridge; Desteffaniz, Fernando for an MsC in Public Policy and Management at SOAS, University of London; Herrero, Joaquin for an MPhil in Digital Policy at the University of Cambridge; Moreyra, Pilar for an LLM Master of Laws at King’s College London; Mossayebeh, Iara for an MSc in Media Communications (Data and Society) at the London School of Economics and Political Science; Pellegrino, Federico for an MsC in Political Economy of Late Development at the LSE; Santolaria, Macarena for an MPA in Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value at UCL; and Wolaniuk, Lucía for an MA in Environmental Humanities at the University of Bristol.
