Hani Othman, the wife of a missing Malaysian bomb squad officer, remains resilient as she continues her search for her husband and fellow rescuers in Nepal. She recently shared the developments on Facebook, stating that so far, no signs of her husband, Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, or the group members have been found during the body identification process.

Hani, addressing her followers, expressed her hope that none of them would be found at the hospital identification facility. Acknowledging the emotional toll of witnessing the condition of the discovered bodies, including those with deformities and infants, she emphasized the need to adapt to the identification process to keep the search for her husband and colleagues going.

Hani had independently traveled to Kathmandu to gather updates on the operation to find her missing husband, as she wanted to be closer to the rescue efforts and avoid waiting for updates from Malaysia. Her friends and acquaintances in Nepal also assisted in the search, while her presence in Nepal was informed to the Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu.

Mohd Fakhrul Munir is among Malaysian nationals still unaccounted for after the sudden flash floods hit Nepal, and the search efforts for the group continue.
