Almost 40 killed in major Russian attack on Kyiv region

Russian forces struck a warehouse near Kyiv, killing at least 37 people and sparking a devastating fire in the Bucha district, according to Ukrainian officials. The attack followed a detonation in the village of Myla, damaging residential buildings and a care home for the elderly and disabled. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the strike, stating that those responsible must be held accountable.

Russian officials claimed they targeted a warehouse storing drone components and launch boosters, as well as ports in Mykolaiv and Izmail, and logistics centers in the Kyiv region. Meanwhile, Russian attacks in the southern Kherson region claimed two lives and injured 27 others, according to local officials.
