2027: Obi, Kwankwaso, Dickson Move to Close Ranks for United NDC Campaign

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is uniting its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, running mate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and National Leader, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, to finalize a cohesive campaign strategy for the 2027 elections. The three political heavyweights convened at Dickson's Abuja residence for several hours of intensive talks aimed at strengthening the opposition party's national political machinery.

This effort follows another major consultation in recent days, highlighting the growing need for the NDC to establish a coordinated campaign structure ahead of the 2027 contest. Although the latest meeting primarily centered on preparations for unveiling the campaign council, repeated high-level discussions have fueled expectations that the NDC is working to resolve outstanding issues and create a more unified campaign approach.

He emphasized that the party is free from any obligation to match the APC's pace in forming its council and that there is no threat of funding issues impacting the NDC's campaign.
