2. Bundesliga: Nürnberg extend winning start with comfortable victory over Bielefled

The 2. Bundesliga season is off to a strong start for Nürnberg, as they extended their winning start with a convincing 4-1 victory over Arminia Bielefeld. The hosts dominated the match, scoring three goals in the first half to secure their fourth win of the season across all competitions.

Mohamed Ali Zoma put Nürnberg ahead in the 11th minute with a remarkable solo strike, navigating past Bielefeld's defense before beating goalkeeper Jonas Kersken. The young midfielder has become the second player this season to score goals on their debut appearance at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, following his performance in the opening day against Dynamo Dresden.

Tom Janisch doubled Nürnberg's lead in the half's midpoint with a superb finish from Finn Becker's cross, capitalizing on the first-half momentum. Adam Markhiev, who had been sent off in the previous friendly against Real Oviedo, equalled his goal tally from the previous season with a long-range effort deflected by Stefano Russo into the net.

Nürnberg's goalkeeper, Markhiev, made a number of crucial saves to help his team maintain control throughout the match. However, their defensive lapse allowed Marius Wörl to score the fourth and final goal in the 72nd minute, converting a measured strike from range after intercepting a one-two pass between Arminia Bielefeld's Javi Fernández and Kristian Mandić.

As the season progresses, Nürnberg will face Holstein Kiel in their next match, while Arminia Bielefeld will host St. Pauli in their upcoming fixture. Currently, Hertha BSC stands alone with a perfect record after three rounds in the 2. Bundesliga.
