Who is Ilhan Omar’s son’s alleged roommate, Abdulrahman Abdi? Minneapolis arrest brings their relation in focus

Abdulrahman Abdi, a 22-year-old roommate of Ilhan Omar's son Adnan Hirsi, was arrested in Minneapolis on a weapons-related charge, according to a report by Alpha News. The search warrant was executed on Aug. 25 at a residence on Marquette Avenue where Abdi and Hirsi reportedly shared an apartment. Abdi, who is also a convicted felon, has a history of arrests, with 10 previous arrests documented in court records.

In 2024, he was arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota, after being caught driving at an extremely high speed of 108 mph. However, there is no confirmed information about Adnan Hirsi residing at the same location as the search, as it has not been independently verified.
