Who bought Lindsay Clancy's old home? Patrick Clancy’s Duxbury house sold to a ‘former prosecutor’ after tragedy

In January 2024, former Plymouth County Assistant District Attorney Michael Phippen purchased the Duxbury, Massachusetts home where Lindsay Clancy's three children were found dead for $675,000, according to property records. The home had been sold earlier that year, with Patrick Clancy stating there is "no house anymore" after his family's tragedy.

Phippen, who worked as an assistant district attorney from 2016 to 2018, bought the three-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 47 Summer Street for $675,000, which was originally purchased by the Clancys for $500,000 in 2018. Phippen's past as a prosecutor has drawn attention due to the house's connection to the case, but he had left the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office in 2018, five years before the tragedy.

After the children's deaths, Lindsay Clancy is accused of killing them and attempting suicide in the basement of the home. Jurors visited the property in July 2024 to inspect the house, including the second-floor window from which Lindsay jumped and the basement where the children were found.
