Wawasan division chiefs tasked with recruiting 1,000 members each

Wawasan secretariat chief Saifuddin Abdullah announced that the party has appointed 160 provisional divisional chiefs across the country, each mandated to recruit a minimum of 1,000 members. The secretary-general also revealed that discussions over the number of seats Wawasan would contest in the upcoming Melaka state election are still ongoing, and are currently in a "very positive" stage between Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional.

The appointment of women and youth chiefs has been postponed for the time being. During a press conference, Saifuddin revealed that Wawasan is actively seeking to attract individuals from diverse backgrounds, some of whom are well-known to the public, while others remain less recognized. However, the party refrains from publicly discussing these potential recruitments, handling the matter discreetly instead.

Saifuddin emphasized Wawasan's inclusive approach, welcoming individuals from various walks of life, including former police officers, military personnel, administrative and diplomatic officers, businessmen, and lecturers.
