Umar Nurmagomedov: Usman ready for Justin Gaethje, Ilia Topuria, Arman Tsarukyan

Umar Nurmagomedov is confident that his younger brother, Usman Nurmagomedov, can face the top fighters in the UFC's lightweight division. Usman (22-0) recently became a free agent after defeating Archie Colgan at PFL New York. If Usman opts to leave PFL, Umar believes he has what it takes to compete with the elite of the UFC lightweight division, including champion Justin Gaethje.

Speaking to MMA Junkie, Umar praised Usman's work ethic, his sparring sessions, and his professionalism in the cage. He stated that Usman can be competitive with any fighter in the world, despite some perceptions that fighters in other promotions might be less skilled. Umar cited Shabliy and Arman Tsarukyan as examples of tough fighters who have proven Usman's capabilities.

While Islam Makhachev, their UFC welterweight champion teammate, has expressed a desire to see Usman in the UFC, Umar refrained from making a direct statement about his brother's future. Instead, he emphasized that Usman has time to decide and will ultimately make the choice based on his life and preferences.
