Trabzonspor reject manager's 'emotional' resignation
Trabzonspor say Fatih Tekke's decision stems from the "intense emotional impact" of the Europa League exit.
Trabzonspor have rejected the emotional resignation of head coach Fatih Tekke following the team's Europa League exit. The Super Lig side lost the play-off tie 5-0 to Ferencvaros, prompting Tekke to tender his resignation. The 48-year-old's decision was based on the intense emotional impact of the Europa League disappointment, the club stated on Friday.
Salah, Trabzonspor's star player, expressed belief in the team's ability to deliver despite the defeat. He emphasized that bad nights and disappointments are part of football and have learned to turn them into motivation and trophies. Trabzonspor will now compete in the Europa Conference League, with Hearts among their opponents.
