Synthetic Products Enterprises Limited (SPEL) is a privately held company based in Pakistan, established in 1982. The firm expanded its status to public in 2008. SPEL's primary focus lies in the production and sale of plastic auto components, food and FMCG packaging, as well as molds and dies. As of June 30, 2025, the company has 199.736 million shares outstanding, with 5,287 shareholders.

The majority stake in SPEL is held by directors, the CEO, their spouse and minor children (58.78 percent), followed by the local general public (31.30 percent), foreign general public (2.07 percent), and Modarabas & Mutual funds (1.54 percent). The remaining shares are distributed across other categories.

SPEL's financial performance showed a positive trend from 2021 to 2025, with the exception of a decline in 2023 and 2026. The company's margins notably improved in 2021 and reached their peak in 2025. In 2021, SPEL opened a new production facility in Karachi to meet the increasing demand. The top line expanded by 34.66 percent year-on-year, driven by improved performance in both local and export markets in the auto and food & packaging divisions.

Despite rising costs of raw materials, fuel, electricity, and maintenance, SPEL managed to achieve a 56.85 percent increase in gross profit, reaching 21.55 percent. Operating profit grew by 77.19 percent, with an operating margin of 16.69 percent. The bottom line expanded by 77.82 percent year-on-year, with a net profit margin of 11 percent. However, the net profit margin dropped in 2023 and 2026.
