Swindon sign midfielder Thomson on two-year deal

Swindon Town has secured the signing of midfielder Jack Thomson from Kilmarnock on a two-year contract. The 26-year-old will join the team at County Ground in exchange for an undisclosed fee, making him manager Ian Holloway's ninth signing of the summer transfer window. Thomson's journey in football began at Rangers, where he had loan spells at Clyde and Orange County in the USA before amassing over 130 appearances for Queen's Park.

He opted to join Swindon after a single season at Kilmarnock, expressing his enthusiasm about the move to the club. Thomson shared his thoughts on the opportunity, stating that the opinions from former England players and his new teammates convinced him that it was the right decision for his career progression.
