Shiksha schools hold annual sports meet

The 26th Annual Sports Meet of Shiksha Kendra Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Shiksha Greenwoods School took place in its campus at Pallikonda town in Vellore. Olympian V. Devarajan, the chief guest, emphasized the significance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and leadership, as well as the necessity for students to prepare themselves to excel globally.

Devarajan urged parents to offer their children ample opportunities to engage in sports and extracurricular activities, promoting holistic development alongside academic accomplishments. Vivekananda House claimed victory in the March Past Shield, Mother Teresa House earned the Discipline Shield, and Mahaveer House triumphed in the Overall Championship Trophy.

The event was chaired by P.N.S. Thirunavukkarasu, chairman of Shiksha Schools, alongside T. Vijaya Thirunavukkarasu, T. Kugan, T. Kugan, and K. Saranya Kugan, school senior principal.
