Scaffolding back up over Ronnie O'Sullivan mural in UK

Scaffolding has been reinstated at a snooker club wall in Sheffield, UK, where a mural of seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan drew considerable online attention. The 30ft artwork, created by Sheffield artist Chris Ashmore, depicts the professional snooker player in the act of taking a shot. Ashmore shared images of the nearly completed mural on his Facebook page on August 15, revealing it in its entirety once the scaffolding was removed.

However, Ashmore revealed that the project was not yet complete, stating that some touch-ups were still required. He explained that he typically uses a scissor lift to oversee the entire piece, but was unable to do so due to the unevenness of the land. People on social media had compared the mural to Michael Jackson or a zombie, which Ashmore found unfair, though he remained undeterred by the criticism.

The scaffolding was once again seen at the mural today, which is located approximately 3km away from the Crucible, the venue for the World Snooker Championships.
