Russia has been relentlessly attacking the Kyiv region for two days straight, with civilians and emergency responders facing grave danger. Since the initial strike on August 27, the area has endured 38 Russian assaults, according to UATV English. The attackers are not only striking civilian infrastructures and residential zones but are also repeatedly targeting locations that have already been hit, while emergency crews are busy extinguishing fires, rescuing people, and managing the aftermath of previous assaults.

This relentless onslaught poses significant risks for civilians who may venture towards strike sites out of curiosity. Multiple civilians have already lost their lives and sustained injuries in areas where emergency responders are actively working to mitigate the impact of Russian attacks. Emergency crews are operating under extremely challenging circumstances, with air raid warnings sounding 20 times since rescue operations began.

These repeated warnings force firefighters to halt their efforts, seek shelter from the looming threat of further strikes, and then return to battle the ensuing fires.
